June Employee of the Month

Saybrook Landing is proud to recognize Chad, one of our outstanding Respiratory Therapists, as June’s Employee of the Month!



A 2013 graduate of Lakeside High School, Chad went on to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy from the University of Akron in 2018. A proud Ashtabula native, Chad credits his inspiration to enter the healthcare field to two important women in his life—his mother and grandmother, both of whom worked as STNAs during his childhood.

When asked how the COVID-19 pandemic shaped his perspective, Chad shared, “COVID was a good reminder of why we all do what we do. It put everything into perspective.” Chad’s dedication and compassion haven’t gone unnoticed by his peers. He was nominated for this honor for consistently going above and beyond for our residents and for being the true definition of a team player. From helping nurses and CNAs on the Respiratory Unit to taking extra time to comfort residents going through difficult moments, Chad's kindness and work ethic shine every day.

When he's not at Saybrook, Chad enjoys traveling with his girlfriend CeCe, cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers and Cleveland Browns, and celebrating his favorite season—fall—which combines his love for football and his birthday!
