November Resident Spotlight

Saybrook Landing is thrilled to highlight one of our cherished residents, Priscilla!

Priscilla was born here in Ashtabula, Ohio, on November 8, 1939, and grew up most of her life down on Benefit Avenue. She found the love of her life and married her husband, Wayne, where they expanded their family with six sons, and one daughter (who happened to be a twin). Priscilla was always passionate about plants and worked in a greenhouse for a few years. However, she settled down at ACMC in the Housekeeping Department where she advanced as a supervisor and worked there for 29 years.



Priscilla and her family traveled out of state for a brief time and spent three short years in Arizona, before moving back to Ohio. One of their favorite things to do together as a family was go camping. Her children also enjoyed playing in the school band, following Priscilla's footsteps in the arts as she played in the junior and senior plays back in her school days.

Priscilla has settled in quite well here at Saybrook Landing, making several friends and staying involved in the activities offered here at the facility. She also remains quite social, propelling herself around the facility and visiting with peers she has met so far. When asked what her favorite activity or thing to do is so far, she replied, "Bingo!"
