July Employee of the Month

Please join us in congratulating Claire R., our July Employee of the Month at Saybrook Landing! Claire’s journey with us began as a Hospitality Aid, and she has since earned her STNA license, inspired by her late mother, Christine Randolph, RN, who first sparked her passion for nursing. Claire's dedication and hard work have made a significant impact on our team and residents alike.



When asked about her future, Claire envisions herself married, working toward her LPN and RN, and still part of the Saybrook Landing family in five years. Looking further ahead, she hopes to be working as a wound nurse in Ashtabula County, with a family of her own. She shared that her fascination with wound care stems from her love of helping people: "Not a lot of people can handle wounds like I do. Wounds don’t intimidate me, and it’s one way I can make a real difference."

A lover of fall, Claire’s favorite holiday is Halloween, and her favorite scary movie is The Silence of the Lambs—fun fact, her mom almost named her Clarice! When she’s not caring for others, Claire enjoys fishing and spending time in nature.
