Meet Saybrook Landing's Respiratory Therapy Manager

Saybrook Landing is excited to introduce our new Respiratory Therapy Department Manager, Eric! Eric, a Registered Respiratory Therapist, graduated from the University of Toledo in 1999 with a major in Health Science. He’s been happily married to his wife Lisa for 31 wonderful years, and together they have three children—two boys and a girl. Their family recently grew by one more with the addition of their playful kitten, Simba.



Eric’s journey into healthcare is deeply personal. He shared, "My dad was asthmatic growing up and often needed hospital care. I would go with him and was so impressed with how the healthcare team cared for him." That inspiration led Eric to pursue a career where he could make a similar impact.

When asked what keeps him passionate, especially after the challenges of COVID-19, Eric’s response was heartfelt: "I love what I do. I love helping people and taking care of them." Looking ahead, Eric sees himself possibly retiring in about seven years but continuing to work PRN here and there.

So far, Eric is loving his time at Saybrook. "This is my first nursing facility. Everyone is so nice, always smiling, and helping out—it’s like a big family atmosphere," he said with a smile. Please join us in giving Eric a warm welcome to our Saybrook family!
